These terms apply to every service Trivolut provides and to every account on our platform. Together with our Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, they form the agreement between you and us. If you use our services for anything other than purely personal use and store personal data on them, our Data Processing Agreement applies as well, and if you take part in our partner programme, our Partner Terms. We have written them to be read, so please do.
1. Who we are
Trivolut provides cloud VPS, game servers, Discord bot and application hosting, web hosting, dedicated servers, domain names and managed services from the Netherlands. You can reach us at support@trivolut.com or through a ticket in your panel.
Trivolut is registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42132359, with VAT identification number NL005521308B43. Our address is Wagenpad 30, 8321 RL Urk, Netherlands.
2. Your account
- You need an account to order services. The information in it must be correct, and you keep it up to date.
- You must be at least 18 years old. If you are younger, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and you must be at least 16.
- Keep your password and your two-factor methods to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you give access to a service do with it.
- If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and contact us straight away.
3. Ordering and prices
- Prices are in euros. Our shop shows them including the VAT of the country you choose, and can show them without VAT. A business in another EU country with a valid VAT number pays no Dutch VAT; the VAT is reverse charged.
- You order a service for the billing period you choose, such as a month, a quarter, half a year or a year, and you pay for that period in advance. Extras you add to a service are billed with it, for the same period.
- An order is accepted once we have received the payment. You receive a confirmation by email.
- Some services, such as registering a domain name or a managed service, are carried out by our team after you order. We tell you if we cannot carry out an order, and refund it in full.
- When you order, you agree to these terms, and as a consumer you ask us to start straight away, as our Refund Policy explains.
- We may change our prices. For a service you already have, a new price applies only to periods that start at least 30 days after we have told you by email, and you can stop the service before then.
4. Payment and wallet
- You can pay with the methods offered at checkout, which are processed by Stripe, or with credit in your Trivolut wallet. We do not charge extra for paying by card or bank.
- Paying by card or bank starts at €5.00. An order below that amount can be paid from your wallet; top it up with at least €5.00 first. This does not apply to renewals, invoices or payment links.
- Your wallet. Your wallet holds prepaid credit for Trivolut services. It is not a bank account and does not earn interest. You can top it up with €5.00 to €5,000.00 at a time, free of charge, and the full amount is added.
- Paying from your wallet. We may give a discount on orders paid with credit in your wallet, including renewals. When we do, checkout shows the percentage before you pay, the discount is taken off the price before VAT, and your invoice shows it as a separate line. We may start, change or end this discount for future payments; a payment already made keeps the discount it had.
- Getting credit back. Within 14 days after a top-up, you can have the unused part of it refunded in full. After that, credit is not paid back in money, also not when you close your account; you can use it for any Trivolut service. If we close your account, or stop offering our services, for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we do pay your unused credit back. Our Refund Policy describes how.
- Expiry of credit. Credit you add by topping up, or by paying an invoice for credit, expires if there has been no activity on your account for 24 months. Activity means signing in, topping up, paying with your wallet or paying for an order, including a renewal. We email you 60 days and 14 days before your credit expires, and signing in before that date is enough to keep it. If you contact us within 12 months after your credit expired, we put it back in your wallet. Partner commission, refunds and credit we added ourselves never expire. This rule applies from 12 October 2026; the 24 months never count from before that date.
- If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend the services it paid for until the amount has been settled.
5. Delivery
Most services are set up automatically as soon as your payment has been received. Some are set up by our team; those can take longer, and we let you know when the service is ready.
6. Renewal, suspension and termination
- Services renew automatically at the end of each period, for the same period and the same price, unless you stop them (section 12) or the price changes as described in section 3.
- How a renewal is paid. We first use the credit in your wallet. If that is not enough, we charge the payment method you saved for it, if any; when you order something that renews, the payment method you use is saved with Stripe where that is possible. If neither works, we email you a link to pay, and remind you before the service is suspended. You can see and change all of this under Billing, Subscriptions in your customer panel.
- If a renewal stays unpaid, the service keeps running for 7 days after its period ended and is then suspended. If it is still unpaid 14 days later, the service is terminated. If you pay while it is suspended, it starts again and the new period counts from the end of the old one.
- When a service is terminated, the server and the data on it are deleted and cannot be recovered. Backups we made of it are deleted within 30 days. The IP address of a VPS stays reserved for 7 days before it can be given to someone else.
7. Your content and backups
- Everything you store on your services remains yours. We do not claim any rights to it, and we use it only to provide the service.
- You are responsible for keeping backups of your own data. Where backups are part of a service or an extra you ordered, we make them with care, but we cannot guarantee that every backup can be restored.
- For game servers without the Automatic backups extra, we keep one safety copy of the server's files each day, replacing the previous one. It is not part of your own backups. On request, after you have paid the restore fee shown in your customer panel, we put the most recent copy back on your server, overwriting the files that are on it.
- You are responsible for the software you run, and for keeping it secure and up to date.
8. Acceptable use
You may use our services only in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination, as described there.
9. Availability and maintenance
We work to keep our services available and fast, but we cannot promise that they will never be interrupted. We do not offer a service level agreement or service credits, unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can. The current state of our platform is shown at status.trivolut.com.
10. Support
You can reach our support through a ticket in your panel, at support.trivolut.com, by email or through our Discord. We answer as quickly as we can, but we do not guarantee response times.
11. Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate a service, with notice where possible and without notice when necessary, if:
- a payment is not made, or is reversed;
- the service is used in breach of these terms or of our Acceptable Use Policy, including when you do not respond to an abuse report in time;
- the service endangers our platform, our network or other customers;
- the law, a court or a competent authority requires it.
When we do, we tell you why, as our Acceptable Use Policy describes, and how you can object.
12. Stopping a service
You can stop a service at any time under Billing, Subscriptions in your customer panel, or by contacting us. It then runs until the end of the period you paid for, is suspended, and is terminated 14 days later, so you still have time to change your mind. Until then you can undo it in the same place.
If you are a consumer and a service has renewed automatically, you can also stop it before the end of the new period, with one month's notice: we then end it one month after you told us, and refund the part of the period after that. If you are a consumer, you also have a right of withdrawal, which our Refund Policy describes.
13. Early access and beta features
Some services and features are offered as early access or beta before everyone can use them. They may change, have errors or stop. If a paid service you have ends because of that, we tell you in advance and refund the part of the period you paid for and did not use.
14. Liability
- We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
- In all other cases, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage.
- We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue, or the loss of data that your own backups could have prevented.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.
15. Changes to these terms
Trivolut is preparing for its official launch, which we will announce on this page. Until then, a change to these terms takes effect when we publish it here. After the launch, if a change affects you, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with it, you can stop your services before that date, and we refund the part of the period you paid for and did not use.
16. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement with Trivolut. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a dispute before the court where you live, and we can only bring one against you there. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection that the mandatory law of your country gives you.
17. Contact
